A café pendant with the ribs of a factory reflector. Mossa is a ribbed prismatic glass pendant in the Holophane tradition — the industrial-era reflector shade you'd see in an old Copenhagen post office or a Bergen dockyard café, brought down to a smaller domestic size and paired with a slim brass neck.

The prismatic ribs are the whole point. Lit, they scatter the warm Edison-glow into fine bands of light rather than one flat pool — a texture on the wall rather than a spotlight on the table. Unlit, the shade catches whatever light is in the room in the same ribbed pattern, which is why we made it in three glass colours: clear for a plain vintage read, amber for warmth, and a green that turns the pendant into a small piece of moss when the light hits it.

Which colour should I pick?

All three glasses give the same warm 3000K glow when the bulb is lit — the colour choice is about the shade unlit, and how it colours the space around it.

• Clear: a plain factory-glass read. Reads as pattern-only, matches any palette, best where the pendant is one of several visual pieces.
• Amber: a warm, honeyed tint that adds a second layer of warm to the light itself. Best over a dining table or a bar.
• Green: the signature. A leaf-and-moss tint that reads as nature indoors — best in a quiet kitchen, a reading nook, or above a plant-filled shelf.

What bulb does it take?

Mossa ships with a warm-white LED bulb already included, so you can hang it and switch it on straight away. The socket is a standard Edison-screw fitting — any equivalent replacement will fit if you ever want to swap in a smart bulb or a different colour temperature down the line.

Where does it work?

Dining tables and kitchen islands are the primary home — the shape scatters warm light without glare. Also good in a café or bar (the whole aesthetic comes from that world), a study, a hallway with height, or a bedroom over the foot of the bed. The exposed bulb is part of the look, so it belongs somewhere the fixture is meant to be seen rather than tucked away.
